Monsieur Tricot is a family of distinctive knitted and hand crocheted outdoor lighting that will add intimacy, layers and mood to your outdoor setting.
These standing and hanging lamps merge traditional techniques with high-performance materials and modern technology.
Designer Ilia Eckardt grew up immersed in the Belgian fashion scene, alongside his mother Hilde Frunt who knitted prototypes for Belgian fashion designers such as Raf Simons and Dries Van Noten. Fascinated by their world, he started to experiment and created his own outdoor lighting collection which he composed as a family.
The handmade globe and drop lights give a warm glow and cast beautiful shadows for long summer nights. Different shapes, knitting styles and colours including Linen, Moss, Brick and Wenge (charcoal) compliment the Tribù furniture collections perfectly.
Battery powered LED and Bluetooth controlled, the standing lamps can be operated with the user-friendly Tribù Monsieur Tricot app, downloadable from the Apple Store or Google Play. You can create groups and add timer functions.
Materials: Sphere in PMMA thermoplastic, removable knit in weather resistant polypropylene, base/top in powder-coated stainless steel.
